Overview:
The Center for Artificial Intelligence and the Arts focuses on the cutting-edge directions in digital art creation, artificial intelligence technology, and the cultural industry. It is dedicated to exploring the integration of artificial intelligence technology and artistic creation, and collaborates with academic experts, student teams, and industry professionals in related fields to discuss and promote the application and development of artificial intelligence technology in the field of artistic creation and cultural creativity. The research focuses on technologies that can generate practical value, such as "intelligent theater," "intelligent display and interactive image installations," "intelligent music," and "intelligent film," aiming to achieve breakthrough innovations in interdisciplinary theory and applied technology, and to generate significant theoretical, economic, and social value.
The center collaborates with the School of Arts and the School of Electronics Engineering adn Computer Science at Peking University to jointly establish the undergraduate program for promoting "Computational Art Talent Development Program." With a focus on practical scientific research and the integration of industry and academia, the program aims to cultivate professional, high-end, and versatile talents and contribute to the comprehensive revitalization and dissemination of traditional Chinese culture in the digital age.
