Overview:

The team at the center covers the entire chain of biomedical R&D technologies, characterized by "multi-omics, multi-modal, cross-scale, and big data" research. It aims to deeply integrate new artificial intelligence technologies to promote biopharmaceutical transformation and clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Focusing on the national development needs of emerging industries and future industries such as life sciences and innovative drugs, the center establishes new AI methods for translational applications, builds digital life, and develops intelligent diagnosis and treatment theoretical systems and drug R&D platforms based on cross-temporal, full-dimensional biomedical data. This promotes the development of future medicine and new drug creation, aiming to become an internationally leading AI biopharmaceutical research institution.

The research center includes three main research directions:

A. Establishing new AI methods based on multi-modal, cross-scale biological data

B. Constructing panoramic maps of digital cells, tissues, and digital life

C. Discovery and design of innovative targets and drugs
