Cao Yongping is the Associate Chief of Orthopedics and the leader of the Joint Group at the First Hospital, Peking University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Orthopedics from Kagawa University School of Medicine, Japan. He has studied and undergone further training at internationally renowned centers for artificial joints in Japan, Germany, the United States, and Australia, accumulating rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of joint disorders in various parts of the body. He specializes in the staged treatment of femoral head necrosis, stepwise treatment of bone and joint disorders, and minimally invasive treatment of various sports injuries. He has participated in the writing of several orthopedic monographs both domestically and internationally and has undertaken numerous national and provincial research projects. He enjoys high domestic and international reputation in the field of sports medicine, artificial joint replacement, and bone metabolism.
