Overview:

The Center for Intelligent Public Health aims to become a leading international research and development institution in the field of artificial intelligence for public health. Operating under the principle of "small institution, large network," the center leverages the excellent medical resources and interdisciplinary strengths of Peking University. It collaborates closely with high-quality health and medical data resources in China to contribute to the implementation of the national development plan for the new generation of artificial intelligence.

The key focus areas of the center's development include:

1. Establishing an ethical and legal framework for intelligent medicine and medical research, along with mechanisms for sharing research outcomes with relevant government departments. The center aims to influence policy-making and implementation through its research findings.

2. Establishing standardized mechanisms for cross-disciplinary, cross-industry, and cross-sector data integration, and proposing solutions for data sharing in both healthcare and non-healthcare sectors.

3. Developing proactive service, monitoring, and education systems tailored to specific population groups.

4. Implementing a learning-based intelligent healthcare system and contributing to the formulation of industry standards, as well as the development of new technologies and approaches.
