Overview:
The "Center for Intelligent Healthcare and Wellness" (i-MED) focuses on the application of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, large language models, the Internet of Things, and smart connectivity in the medical and health fields. Its aim is to optimize healthcare and intelligent health care service systems, with particular attention to addressing the urgent needs posed by an aging population and the improvement of overall health quality.
By leveraging Peking University's interdisciplinary elite resources and expertise, the i-MED Center delves deeply into multiple fields including AI, medicine, sports, and rehabilitation, striving to explore and practice at the forefront of technology. Its core missions include integrating interdisciplinary research to drive innovative applications of medical AI technology in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and rehabilitation; designing intelligent health care solutions that meet the needs of the elderly to enhance their quality of life, especially targeting breakthroughs in major diseases; and promoting precision medical and health care services to ensure that each step of diagnosis and treatment precisely matches individual needs.
The i-MED Center aims to play a leading role in the global medical health and health care fields, not only advancing medical service models towards greater intelligence, efficiency, and personalization but also committed to improving service quality and efficiency. This will inject strong momentum into the comprehensive upgrade of the health care industry and the enhancement of economic efficiency.
