Wang Qining is a renowned professor and Ph.D. supervisor in the School of Engineering. His research focuses on intelligent robots, intelligent prosthetics, and rehabilitation engineering. He has received several prestigious awards and honors, including the following:

He serves as an advisor to the Wearable Robotics Technical Committee of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and a member of the IEEE Medal for Environmental & Safety Technologies Evaluation Committee. He is also a member of the Robotics Society of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Deputy Chairman of the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Professional Committee of the China Disabled Persons' Federation, a member of the Biomedical Engineering Society of China, and a standing committee member of the Rehabilitation Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics. Additionally, he serves as Deputy Chairman of the Rehabilitation Engineering Professional Committee of the Beijing Rehabilitation Medicine Association.
