Zhouchen Lin is a professor at Peking University. He is an IAPR/IEEE/CSIG Fellow, a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and the Director of the Machine Vision Committee of the China Society of Image and Graphics. He is also the Vice Director of the Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation. His current research focuses on machine learning and numerical optimization. He has published over 290 papers and authored three English monographs and two Chinese monographs, collecting more than 30,000 Google Scholar citations. He has served as area chairs of all top conferences in machine learning and artificial intelligence, such as CVPR, ICCV, NIPS/NeurIPS, ICML, IJCAI, AAAI, and ICLR. He has also been an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence and currently serves as associate editors of International Journal of Computer Vision and Optimization Methods and Software.
