Professor Li Qiang has been actively engaged in policy research and academic research in the field of government management, and has made significant contributions in his research areas. Additionally, he has held management positions at Peking University for many years, gaining extensive experience in research management, project management, and team building.
Since April 2011, Professor Li Qiang has also served as the Director of the Survey Center. Under his leadership, the Survey Center has integrated the implementation of the CFPS and CHARLS projects into its platform, established and improved the Principal Investigator (PI) system, developed a data management and service platform, enhanced innovation in survey techniques and methods, and strengthened quality control of survey data. By attracting outstanding scholars and professionals from both domestic and international backgrounds, the overall research capabilities of the center have been greatly enhanced.
