Dr. Ma Lei is an Associate Researcher at the College of Future Technology, Peking University, and the National Biomedical Imaging Center. He is also the head of the full-scale image data integration device for multimodal cross-scale biomedical imaging facilities. He has been engaged in research in computer graphics and software, as well as scientific visualization for many years. Currently, he focuses on large-scale biological neuron simulation and imaging facility construction. He is dedicated to integrating cutting-edge technologies in the fields of biomedical big data, artificial intelligence, and computer graphics to develop new generation three-dimensional biomedical image visualization techniques. By combining fine-scale neuron-level simulation calculations with cross-scale multimodal imaging technologies in biological experimental environments, he aims to provide new methods for scientific discoveries. In the past five years, he has published more than thirty papers in internationally renowned journals and conferences, covering interdisciplinary fields such as computer graphics, scientific computing visualization, machine learning, and brain-inspired intelligence. He has previously worked as an engineer in the research laboratory of the top international graphics company, Autodesk, and served as a technical expert in several top domestic companies. His research achievements have been highly recognized by the industry, and he has extensive experience in enterprise research and development management and technology transfer. His related research and development results have been applied to internationally leading CAD/CAE industrial software such as AutoCAD."
