Research Overview:
Dr. Zhong Sun has been engaged in research on resistive switching memory and novel computing paradigms. His works have been published in journals such as PNAS, Science Advances, Nature Communications, IEEE TCAS-I/II. He has been awarded the first-class Intellectual Property Award (Italy), been recognized as a member of the Intelligent Computing Innovators China 2022.
Currently, his main research interests include:
Analog matrix computing (AMC), including the design of basic AMC circuits, analog computing theory, and their applications in machine learning, scientific computing, wireless communication, and other fields.
Neural network models based on resistive switching dynamics, including the dynamics and applications of resistive memory circuits, attractor network theory and algorithms.
New principle resistive switching devices, including innovative design and optimization of devices, precise write mechanism design, and the fabrication of high-performance devices and arrays.
His group plans to recruit 1-2 doctoral students every year, targeting students majoring in microelectronics, electronics, physics, communications, and related fields. Postdoctoral positions are also available with competitive benefits. Undergraduate students are also welcome to join the group and work together!
