Dr. Wang Long is the Director of the Research Center for Systems and Control at Peking University. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Society, Director of the Intelligent Control Laboratory at the College of Engineering, and Chairman of the Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems Committee of the China Simulation Society. He obtained his doctoral degree from Peking University in 1992. He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Toronto, Canada in 1993 and collaborated at the German Aerospace Center with the support of the Humboldt Foundation from 1995 to 1997. He is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor, and Changjiang Scholar at Peking University. He has received numerous awards, including the Ministry of Education's Ho Ying-Dong Research Award (First Prize), National Natural Science Award (1999, 2017), Ministry of Education's Science and Technology Progress Award (First Prize), Ministry of Education's Natural Science Award (First Prize), First Ho Outstanding Paper Award, and the First Guan Zhaozhi Control Theory Award.
