Dr. Peng Yijie obtained his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and Statistics from Wuhan University in 2007, and his Ph.D. degree from the School of Management, Fudan University in 2014. He has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Maryland, College Park, and served as an Assistant Professor at George Mason University in the United States. His research has been published in top journals in the fields of Operations Research, INFORMS Journal on Computing, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, and other areas related to operations research, computational science, and control theory. He has received awards such as the 2019 INFORMS Outstanding Simulation Publication Award, the 2017 Best Conference Paper Award-Finalists from the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, and the 2020 Best Theory Paper-Finalists from the Winter Simulation Conference. He has led multiple research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation Excellent Young Scholar Fund.
