Graduated from the School of Engineering at Peking University in 2007 with a Ph.D. in Science, Jinyan Shao then joined IBM China Research Institute. At IBM, She held various positions including Researcher, Senior Researcher, Assistant to the Dean, Project Manager for IBM's Global Energy and Environmental Strategy Program, and Head of IBM's Information Accessibility Technology in China. she possesses extensive experience in technical research and development, prototype system design and implementation, cross-industry applications, and complex project management.
In recent years, she has focused on the core technology development and key field applications of complex systems modeling, multi-agent collaboration, and medical rehabilitation robots. she has particularly emphasized industry innovation and the implementation of results in sectors such as environment, energy, and health care for the elderly.
