Zhang Shouwen obtained his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Law from Peking University in 1989, 1994, and 1999, respectively. He is currently a professor, doctoral supervisor, and holds a Ph.D. in Law from Peking University School of Law. His research focuses on Economic Law Theory, Fiscal Law, and Tax Law. He has been teaching at Peking University School of Law since 1994 and was elected as the Dean of the School in 2010. He also serves as the Vice President and Secretary-General of the Economic Law Research Association of the Chinese Law Society, as well as the Vice President and Secretary-General of the Tax Law Research Association of the Chinese Law Society.
