Dr. Dai Xin holds Bachelor's Degrees in Law and in Sociology from Peking University (2006), a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Duke University (2009), and a Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.) from the University of Chicago (2018). He is tenured associate professor and vice dean at Peking University Law School (2020-present), and previously served as an associate professor and professor at the Ocean University of China Law School (2013-2020). He also worked as an attorney at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York and Hong Kong (2010-2013). His research areas include jurisprudence, economic analysis of law, law and society, information privacy law, government digitization, and comparative law.
