Pei Yuru is an Associate Professor in the Department of Intelligent Science at the School of Information Science and Technology, Peking University. Her primary research interests include image processing, computer vision, 3D digital geometry processing, and their applications in clinical maxillofacial diagnosis and behavior analysis. From November 2011 to August 2012, she conducted research as a visiting scholar at Queen Mary University of London and Imperial College London. She has published over 60 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author in journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (IEEE Trans.PAMI), IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (IEEE Trans. MI), IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering (IEEE Trans. BME), ICCV, AAAI, and MICCAI. She has also applied for and been granted more than ten national patents. She has undertaken and participated in several projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation. She received the Second Prize of the Ministry of Public Security's Science and Technology Progress Award in 2011 and the Best Paper Award at IEEE FG 2020".
