Guilan Kong is an Associate Researcher and graduate supervisor. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the National University of Defense Technology and a Ph.D. and postdoctoral degree from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. She has received the Second and Third Class Military Science and Technology Progress Awards. She is an expert committee member of the Trauma Medicine Center at Peking University, a member of the Traffic Injury and Trauma Database Professional Committee of the 7th Trauma Society of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Emergency Medical Rescue Medical Consortium Study Group of the Emergency Resuscitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and the Deputy Director of the Smart Medical Care Branch of the China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics. She also serves as a reviewer for several international SCI journals.
