Dr. Wang gained the bachelor degree of Medicine in 2007, and received his PhD in Epidemiology and Bio-statistics at Peking University in 2012. Dr. Wang worked as a visiting scholar in Pritzker school of Medicine, University of Chicago during 2015-2017. As a principal investigator, he has leaded 12 projects, which were funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Premier fund project, National Natural Science Foundation, the Special Fund of the Ministry of Health Public Service Sectors, etc. And he has also participated in more than 10 national projects, including the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, National Natural Science Foundation, etc. He has published more than 120 papers, including JAMA Network Open (13.360)，Lancet HIV (16.070)，Plos Medicine (11.069)，Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry (10.283)，Asian journal of psychiatry (13.890), etc. He is the member of Committee of Pharmaco-epidemiology of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, Secretary-general of the evidence-based evaluation committee of Beijing cancer prevention and treatment society, Member of Committee of Big Data Branch of Beijing Society of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Education, Office director of Center of Post-marketing Safety Evaluation of Peking University Health Science Center, etc. He has awarded first prize of National Hybrid Instructional Design Innovation Competition, Peking University Zhongwai Medical Award, Peking University Zheng Da Award, Peking University Excellent Teaching Award, First prize of Beijing Young Teachers Teaching Skills Competition, etc.
