Overview:
The Large Model Research Center aims to coordinate the school's innovative research efforts in developing large model algorithms and engineering systems. The research subjects include, but are not limited to, large language models, large visual models, multimodal large models, and embodied large models. As the "Peking University Team" in large model algorithm research, the center aligns with national and Beijing's artificial intelligence development plans, collaborating with relevant institutions like the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI). The center integrates computational power and data resources to contribute Peking University's strengths towards training internationally advanced foundational large models. Additionally, it conducts research on large model data resource processing, educational and scientific application models, security governance, and large model application paradigms.
