Overview:
The Center for Natural Language Processing is aiming at developing general-purpose natural language processing (NLP) technologies and investigating the theoretical underpinnings, methodologies, and technical systems of NLP. Our primary objective is to explore and develop general-purpose NLP techniques that can be applied across diverse domains.
The center focuses on universal, robust, and cross-modal methods for natural language understanding and text generation, to provide technical support for general artificial intelligence platforms and large-scale AI systems in various domains.
The center's main research directions include semantic analysis and understanding, text reasoning, question answering and dialogue systems, text generation, cross-modal language intelligence, cognitive and knowledge computing, and more.
